SBA Disaster Assistance Available for April 13 - 23 Severe Storms, Tornadoes, and Flooding
The U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of Disaster and Recovery are currently working to help spread awareness throughout the community regarding financial assistance available for those affected by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding occurring April 13 – 23.
The SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to businesses, homeowners, renters, and nonprofits located within the counties affected by the storms. There are no income requirements to apply for assistance and no payment and no interest for the first 12 months. Individuals and organizations that reside or operate within the declared disaster areas are eligible to apply for consideration.
Below is a link of the press release and fact sheet. Please note that the deadline for applying for physical damage assistance is August 31, 2026. As the deadline is approaching, we want to make sure the community is informed as soon as possible. Applicants may apply online or contact our customer service team directly, and we are available to assist them throughout every step of the application process. We also have SBA customer service representatives that will be on hand at the Business Recovery Centers in Marathon, Milwaukee, Outagamie and Vernon counties to answer questions and assist with the disaster loan application process. Walk-ins are welcome.
